About Bridget Kushwah | LMFT #124210, MA, CMIP

Bridget Kushwah

My name is Bridget Kushwah and I’m a marriage and family therapist licensed in the state of California.

My greatest specialty is Mindfulness, but I also integrate CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Attachment Therapy to support my patients in managing anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles.

Growing up as one of six kids, I understand the complex feelings, challenges, conflicts, and joy that we experience in relationships and how they affect us as an individual trying to create and understand our own self-identity.

Having experienced my own struggles in discovering myself while also staying connected with significant people in my life despite the anxiety these relationships may ignite, I began my own journey figuring out how to manage uncomfortable emotions in the midst of relationships that also bring me happiness. While working on healing myself, I decided that I also wanted to share the tools I learned and support others in embarking on their healing journey as well.

I love exploring, spending time with family and friends, and living life to the fullest. I believe it’s so important to incorporate what we learn in therapy in our daily experiences, especially our favorite activities. I love the sense of peace I experience when I mindfully practice yoga or surf.

You will find that my approach is adventurous, explorative, and playful when appropriate. Yes, therapy can be difficult and uncomfortable, but it can also be fun and lighthearted. All experiences and feelings are welcome.

I value hard work but also feel it’s important to know when not to take yourself too seriously.

“I love exploring, spending time with family and friends, and living life to the fullest.”
